Hello Fellow Travelers… We’re Still Building Together
Yay! We made it to the next round 😊
Some of you are just now discovering that I somehow wandered into Johnny Depp’s People’s Artist Program, while many of you have already been faithfully traveling alongside me through Twain’s Gazette and these strange architectural worlds I keep building through words.
So first and foremost: thank you.
Thank you for the votes, the encouragement, the donations, the messages, the reposts, and the incredible warmth you’ve shown throughout this journey. I truly did not expect such a powerful response to the work, and I’ve been deeply moved by it.
I’m currently holding steady at 5th place in my category as the competition now narrows again. The next voting deadline is:
🗓️ May 21, 2026 at 7:00 PM
At that point, only the top 15 artists across all categories will move forward.
What has touched me most is not simply the competition itself, but the realization that so many people genuinely connected with the work and wanted to help carry it forward. That means more to me than I can fully express.
Together we’ve also helped raise meaningful support for The Art of Elysium, whose mission deeply resonates with me:
“The Art of Elysium is an artist organization built on the idea that through service, art becomes a catalyst for social change.”
That idea sits at the center of my own work and beliefs.
Much of my creative practice explores what I call “narrative architecture,” the building of worlds through language. Through essays, speculative storytelling, historical research, architecture, and visual compositions, I try to create spaces people can emotionally and intellectually enter together.
And now… we continue onward.
Like Julia Morgan quietly entering rooms she was never expected to enter, I find myself moving through one threshold at a time 😊
Perhaps we can carry this all the way.
If you’d like to continue supporting the project, you can vote for free every 24 hours here:
🗳️ Kimberly Perette for People’s Artist
And if you’d like to make a donation while voting, all funds go directly to The Art of Elysium in support of their programs and mission. Donations are tax deductible, and you’ll be contributing toward a truly worthy cause that supports art, service, and community together.
If you’d like to learn more about The Art of Elysium:
Thank you again, fellow travelers.
The architectural worlds continue.

Luv,
