☠️ Poison and Free Speech
But on the other hand, are we too stupid to get rid of poison? I’m off the freedom-of-speech train. I get it — people should be able to disagree, argue, hash things out. But what happens when the “opinions” being shouted are outright racism, sexism, division, xenophobia?
That’s not debate. That’s poison. That’s Hitler. That’s Stalin. That’s priests demanding the destruction of the “literary class.” That’s book burnings through time. So where do we draw the line?
📚 An Educated Populace
Part of the problem is education. Or the lack of it.
These people spinning this nonsense — half of them aren’t educated in the bigger picture of the world. They don’t understand civics, or humanity. Their vision is narrow: humanity equals whoever looks like me.
Except in Hitler’s case. What was his problem? When you’re killing people who look like you, that’s some twisted self-hatred. You see echoes of this in the Black community too — violence turned inward, killing those who look like ourselves. It’s a sickness.
🔪 The Violence Question
Let’s be clear: assassination is wrong. Charlie Kirk shouldn’t have been shot.
But listen to what he was saying. It wasn’t good. So what do you do with someone like that? How do you stop them intellectually before they get too much power?
That’s what haunts me — we’ve seen this movie before. Nazi Germany was built on words, ideas, speeches. Once the poison spread far enough, it became unstoppable.
⚠️ Fear of Dictatorship
Here’s the fear: that the same could happen here. And not just to the fringe.
Regular liberals, conservatives, educated people — we’re all scared of the strongman who rises, who decides who belongs and who doesn’t. Who declares who gets sent away? Fair or unfair.
That’s dictatorship. And it’s not far-fetched. It’s history, on repeat.
To be continued…
(Correction: An earlier version misstated the name. It is Charlie Kirk.)
Carlson
The poison started with the Murdock press and their ownership of newspapers like The Sun in the UK, New York Post and then Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Tucker Catt try Leon spewing out nonsense and paranoia day by day.
Think back to a time when there was a fairness doctrine on TV and we had trusted journalists like Walter Cronkite who could speak for the nation and represent decency and honor.
